Medical & Fitness Disclaimer
In short: Holmquist Fitness gives general fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice, and it doesn't replace a doctor, physical therapist or registered dietitian. Exercise can cause injury. If something feels wrong, stop and get checked.
General information only
Holmquist Fitness, operated by Holmquist Tech Solutions LLC, provides general fitness, wellness and educational information and tools: food and calorie logging, macro targets, workout plans, exercise demonstrations, stretching and recovery routines, progress tracking and AI-generated suggestions. This information is for general wellness and education only.
Not a medical provider
- Holmquist Fitness is not a medical provider, physical therapy provider, or nutrition counseling service, and using the App does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–patient or dietitian–client relationship.
- The App's creators and its AI features are not acting as your doctor, physical therapist, registered dietitian, or any other licensed healthcare professional.
- The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease, injury or medical condition. Recovery and stretching routines are general mobility exercises, not physical therapy or rehabilitation.
- Calorie and macro targets are estimates from standard formulas. They are not a medical nutrition plan and may not suit people with medical conditions, who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or who have a history of disordered eating.
Talk to a professional first
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning or changing an exercise or nutrition program, especially if you:
- have, or have had, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, a lung condition, kidney disease, or another medical condition;
- have chest pain, dizziness or fainting, or have been told to limit physical activity;
- are pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding;
- have a current or past injury, surgery, joint problems, or chronic pain;
- take medication, especially medication that affects heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar or appetite;
- have a history of eating disorders, or plan significant calorie restriction;
- are over 45 and haven't exercised regularly, or are unsure whether exercise is safe for you.
Stop and seek help
Stop exercising immediately and seek appropriate medical attention if you experience chest pain, pressure or tightness; severe shortness of breath; dizziness, light-headedness or fainting; irregular heartbeat; sudden severe headache; numbness, tingling or weakness; sharp, severe or worsening pain; or any symptom that concerns you. Call 911 in an emergency. Don't push through pain, and don't ignore or delay medical advice because of something you read or generated in the App.
AI-generated content
AI features can produce inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate information. AI output is not personalized medical advice, is not reviewed by a professional, and does not guarantee any result. The App is designed to direct people to professional care for red-flag symptoms, but it cannot recognize every situation.
Nutrition data may be wrong
Calories, macronutrients, barcode results and other nutrition information come from a community database, approximations, AI estimates or your own entries, and may contain errors. Always check product labels, and especially don't rely on the App for allergies, food intolerances or medical diets.
No guaranteed results
Results vary from person to person. We do not promise or guarantee any particular weight change, body composition, strength, performance, health or pain outcome.
